x2.. I like to let people pass when I race... gets all the people trying to push it too hard out of my way, ususally 60% I pass them on the side of the road later on.
Blocking is yes.. but once you've lost speed just to block no and swerve no..
Blocking is fine for me because they go off there race line to keep you from passing them.. If they try to serve you off the road I just let off alittle hold my line and let them tag the front of my car and spin out
I just hate the people that feel the need they need to make a pass when ever the opportunity arises (if it goes right into your race line), it's more about time and racing lines.. If you really have the skill you would overtake them reguardless
Thats why I would think it would be easily added in for grip in the wet.
I play Alot of Counter-strike... but you can turn off the down pouring rain, witch reduces alot of lag.. and it's not like were going to have actuall glare and all that eye candy.
Kind of like how the grass will get on your tire.. but have it blue for water.. and the quicker you go the less tire resistance you get.. that way it will appear you tread is getting more grip on the wet pavement.
I'd really love to see this in the game
Just posting here because it's the most current discussion on this
Well you have to pay for the rights for all that stuff.. Most of the time they will want their car's to be represented as the best in the game (BMW comes to mind). Plus I think LFS trys to keep different drivetrains but even classes.. Putting alot of the same FF car's wouldn't be worth there while (I would think). The closest you'll see to a NSX/Elise is the Raceabout (just imagine it to be a T top).
We might as well get a Smart car with a CBR engine in it for that matter (in all seriousness it would be fun to drag with)
I think the only reason they sold there name to Gran Turismo was because it was soo widely known it was good advertisement regardless because everything was classed so accurately.. But noticed how Porsche or Ferrari would never sell their name. But you look at project gothem the Ferrari had to be on the cover of the game
But in reality you would loose ALOT of torque at that high of a RPM. I never had super short gearing on the XRT, so I didn't have a drastic change. I feel you hit redline alot more realistically now.
It's not a big name track, they love exposure.. I did some reading up on it.. I guess the track is in Rfactor under a differnt name (Vanport) .. It's hard to pass unless you get to intimidated and off the race line.. The last turn is a big turn into the long strait, witch comes up to a very tight S-turn
I can take off fine about 30 times without the clutch ever overheating.. Although, I noticed I was in the sand using the clutch to keep my car from stalling and the wheels barley turning.. I wasn't torquing on the clutch when I was getting the wheels to turn.. Although it got really hot???
I couldn't see a clutch getting hot like that especially when you not applying the torque to a solid surface.. Other then that I haven't gotten the clutch hot yet on any other car
I would think people are doing that to get some added stability because, now people have to blip the throttle going into turns.. and downshifting is more of a issue for most
I've really enjoyed this new patch.. I like the new rev limits, and no flat shifting.. You loose more power, but it takes more skill to keep the power down effectively threw the gears.
The engines feel more true threw the gears and the power curves.. I thought the FZ5 was werid at first but I like it more then ever now.. For some reason I find alot of the cars to grip alittle bit more , just everything feels alot more ballanced on the wheels
Oh, I didn't bother to retrieve my old set's.. I just made all new
Alpha's were known for their handling ablilities.. Plus you can't tell me a alpha R edition with full rollcage and all gutted out wouldn't hold the road
Maybe if it was evenly classed with either the XFG or a FXO.. Also if the XFR and UFR edition's would match with those race edition.. I think it would be a nice RWD to add to that R class (liven up that class)
